About this scholarship
For a student-athlete in their graduation year who plays high school or club volleyball and carries a never give up attitude onto the court. The award says that the recipient may not be the most skilled player on the team, and asks instead for strength of character, persistence against challenges, dedication to the team, and encouragement of teammates. Applicants can put themselves forward or be nominated by someone else. The money has to be used toward post-secondary tuition or associated costs within two years of graduating.
