ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Two awards of $750 from the Ron MacLean Foundation for students entering full-time studies at Red Deer Polytechnic with a minimum grade of 74 per cent, weighed on community involvement, academic achievement and financial need.
Red Deer Polytechnic runs one General Application that closes May 31 and puts you in the running for every award you qualify for, so this is one box on a form rather than a separate submission. The 74 per cent minimum is well below the 80 per cent that most entrance scholarships ask for, and community involvement is listed first among the criteria.
