Rex Turple Memorial Hockey Education Scholarship

The Community Foundation of Central Alberta funds this in memory of Rex Turple, who played for the Red Deer Rustlers and coached in Scotland, England and Austria. It goes to post-secondary students who are part of a team in Alberta's Heritage Junior Hockey League.

Paid against courses you have already completed in the fall and winter terms rather than up front, so it reimburses study rather than funding it. The foundation does not publish a value. As with all its awards the money goes straight to the institution and is credited to your tuition account, never to you.
