ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Three bursaries of $1,600 from the Red Deer Advocate for students entering Academic Upgrading or Open Studies at Red Deer Polytechnic, who can show evidence of career planning and goal setting, awarded on financial need.
Red Deer Polytechnic runs one General Application that closes May 31 and puts you in the running for every award you qualify for, so this is one box on a form rather than a separate submission. Open Studies qualifies as well as Academic Upgrading, which widens it past students who left school without finishing. Evidence of career planning is what the application turns on.
