SCHOLARSHIP COMMUNITY DEADLINE TBA

Philip Ki Joon Oh Scholarship

LEDUC
WHO CAN APPLY
Beaumont Composite grade 12 students with a 70% average or better

Three scholarships of $2,000 each at Beaumont Composite for outstanding all-round grade 12 students, and it is built in two levels so that a strong record without top marks still has a route in. Level I asks for an academic average of 80% or higher plus active participation on school or community sports teams, leadership and public speaking, and volunteering. Level II asks for a 70 to 79% average with contribution to school and community through service clubs, organisations and community activities, plus the same leadership and public speaking. Both require acceptance into a full-time program of at least two years.

Beaumont Composite publishes a dated cutoff for this rather than a bare recurring day; the 2026 cycle closed May 8. Shortlisted candidates are interviewed by the awards committee, so budget time for that as well as for the form.

1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
