Northern Lights graduates who have led in their school for two years
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Created by the Board of Trustees to recognise students who have shown exceptional leadership. It asks for a high degree of empathy for others and a leadership role within your school held for at least two years, which rules out anyone who started in grade 12. Apprenticeships count as post-secondary here, alongside universities, colleges and trade schools.
A Northern Lights Public Schools award, so every high school in the division competes for it, Cold Lake High included. The division publishes no value for it.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before April 30, 2027.
