Worth knowing

There is no separate form. You are considered automatically once you complete the University of Alberta's General Application for entrance awards through its AcademicWorks site. Selection weighs your admission average and the leadership you show in school and community activities. Graduates of high schools in Whitecourt, Boyle and Fox Creek, where Millar Western operates, get special consideration. The university's Student Awards Office picks the winners, not the company.

About this scholarship

Millar Western's University of Alberta endowment pays $3,500 entrance scholarships to 20 to 25 students a year, with special consideration for Whitecourt, Boyle and Fox Creek graduates.
