About this scholarship
Created by Joyce Howdle and Olga Achtymichuk, this $1,000 award helps an Alberta student in middle, junior or high school take their music further, through MusiCamp Alberta, private lessons or similar activities.
Worth knowing
This pays for extracurricular music learning rather than tuition, and the money goes straight to whoever provides it. You have to use it by June 1 after you win. The application needs a letter, evidence of need and support from a teacher or conductor.
