ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
One $500 award from Royal Canadian Legion Branch #39. Preference goes to the child of a Canadian veteran, and applicants in that position attach a short letter naming the veteran and their relationship, but the criteria state in capitals that it is open to any student who has shown leadership in school or community activities. Students who assume a Legion award is closed to them are the ones this wording is aimed at.
One form covers every LPSD award. You complete the General LPSD Scholarship Application in the Google Classroom, code an2eroz, by May 1, and tick this award on the LCHS organizer sheet rather than applying to the sponsor.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before May 1, 2027.
