Worth knowing
Two awards, and only five schools are eligible, so the field is small if you are at one of them. A previous recipient cannot win it twice.
What you'll need
- The district application form, emailed to the club
- Your most recent transcript
- Your acceptance and enrolment details
- Two to four reference letters, one ideally from your principal or school staff
- A one-page personal letter, or a video of up to 4 minutes
- A parental consent form if you are under 18

About this scholarship
The Edmonton Host Lions Club gives two $500 scholarships to Grade 12 graduates of Eastglen, Queen Elizabeth, amiskwaciy Academy, St. Joseph Catholic High School or Austin O'Brien Catholic High School who have been accepted into a post-secondary program of a year or more. Send the application form, a recent transcript, proof of acceptance, two to four reference letters and either a one-page letter or a video of up to four minutes to the club by email.
