What we keep
Nothing else is sent until you press the button in the confirmation email. If you never do, the address is deleted within 30 days. Otherwise it goes 60 days after the deadline or the moment you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. A listing with no date keeps it a year at most, and nothing is kept past 18 months. We never sell or trade it. Questions go to hello@scholarab.ca. The full privacy policy.
Worth knowing
You must be in Grade 12 with an 80% average across five 30-level core courses including English 30-1, enrolled full-time in post-secondary or an apprenticeship, and have done community service or volunteer work in the last 12 months. You or your parents must have lived in Edmonton or the surrounding area for the past 24 months, and you must be a citizen or permanent resident. Apply through the online form with two signed reference letters under a year old, not from friends or family, and your high school transcript. Applications usually open July 1 and close in early September, and the 2026 deadline was September 6. Winners are told in early November and receive the award at a gala in November.
