Lamont County rural residents graduating this year or within the last two years
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Lamont County awards two $1,000 scholarships a year to students from the rural county who are heading to post-secondary study.
You must live in the county itself rather than in one of its towns or villages, and either be on track to graduate or have graduated within the last two years, with an application already in to a post-secondary institution. The county says marks are not the main test: it is looking for a demonstrated commitment to the community. Applications close June 30. Lamont County also keeps a useful page of outside awards open to its students.
