ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Kiwanis Club of Cochrane, with Bow Valley Credit Union, funds six $1,000 scholarships a year, two at each of Cochrane High, Bow Valley High and St. Timothy. They recognise outstanding leadership and a strong commitment to volunteering in the Cochrane community.
Two per school is a far better ratio than a single town-wide competition, so the pool you compete in is your own graduating class. The club has posted a May 7 cutoff while the Cochrane High package lists April 1, so file through your school and treat the earlier date as the real one.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before April 1, 2027.
