Kinsmen Club of Red Deer General Entrance Scholarship

The Kinsmen Club of Red Deer funds a $1,000 entrance scholarship for a Central Alberta resident starting full-time studies at Red Deer Polytechnic, weighed on academic achievement, financial need and leadership in the community.

Red Deer Polytechnic runs one General Application that closes May 31 and puts you in the running for every award you qualify for, so this is one box on a form rather than a separate submission. No single one of the three criteria carries it, so a student who is solid on community involvement and can show need is competitive without a standout transcript.
