Grade 12 students at Edmonton public and Catholic high schools who volunteer in their community
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Kinsmen Club of Edmonton gives a scholarship of at least $1,000 to a Grade 12 student at every Edmonton Public and Edmonton Catholic high school, for service to the community through volunteering. One award per school each year, run under the club Salute to Youth banner.
There is one of these at every public and Catholic high school in the city, which makes it one of the better odds in Edmonton. The club publishes no form and no date, and its page still reads 'applications are now closed for 2025', so the route is your school. Ask in September.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school.
