ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Free first-year tuition at Keyano College for a student entering from a secondary school inside the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo with an average of 80 per cent or better. It is the largest single thing a Fort McMurray graduate can win and it is not a competition against the whole province, only against the region.
Two gates and no more: you graduated from a school inside the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, and you carried an 80 per cent average. There is no essay and no reference letter in the criteria. Keyano runs this as a standing programme rather than a one-off competition, so check the admissions page for the current year's application window.
