Joyce Wontner Memorial Entrance Bursary
Who can apply: Grade 12 students entering first-year Child Studies at Mount Royal with financial need
Amount and deadline
Date confirmed on the provider's page, Oct 2026.
Worth knowing
You must start the Bachelor of Child Studies full time. Need decides it, and a single parent gets preference.
How the Mount Royal awards application works
Mount Royal takes award applications once a year, through the awards application in MyMRU, open November 1 to March 1. Apply for admission first, because you need an admission record and student ID before you can open it. To be considered for an award tied to a major, declare that major with the Registrar's Office before you fill it in.
48 awards listed here go through it.
