About this scholarship
Birch Hills County Council awards this bursary each year to residents entering a university, community college or technical or trades program, with preference to students heading into social services, health care or mental health. Home-schooled students qualify with proof of diploma equivalency, and you cannot have received it before.
Worth knowing
Applications open January 1 and close April 30 each year; the policy also mentions a May 31 form date, so apply by the earlier one. Send it to reception@birchhillscounty.com, in person at the county office in Wanham, or by mail. You need a 150-word essay on how the award will affect your access to education, confirmation from your school that you are on track to graduate, and your acceptance letter.
