ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Ten awards of $25,000, the largest Horatio Alger Canada gives, for Grade 11 students across Canada who have overcome adversity and show entrepreneurial drive.
Ten awards of $25,000, against 160 at $10,000 in the companion Canadian Scholarships stream, so the odds are longer but the award is worth two and a half times as much. Same gates as the rest of the Horatio Alger slate: apply in GRADE 11, household net income of $80,000 or less, a 70 percent average, and Canadian citizenship or permanent residence.
