Federation of Alberta Gas Co-ops Achievement Award
Four awards of $1,000 handed out at the FedGas annual general meeting to children of co-operative members of gas utilities in the federation, and to children of landowners serviced by member towns, villages, counties or First Nations. The membership must have been in place a full year, and at least 75% in core subjects is required rather than preferred. Preference goes to fields that apply to the natural gas industry, such as gas utility operator, gasfitter, pipefitter, power engineering and heavy equipment technician, or to rural-based programs.
The date is not a submission deadline in the usual sense: the form has to be signed by your local gas co-op, band, town, village or county office no later than October 1 following graduation, so the office you need is a third party with its own hours.
