Daily Herald-Tribune Bursary

One bursary of $200 from the Daily Herald-Tribune, Grande Prairie's newspaper. Like the Lions Club bursary, the whole published criterion is that you are an entering student.

At $200 this is the smallest award at the polytechnic, which is exactly why fewer students bother. It costs one line on the same application. Northwestern Polytechnic's standard award criteria require two full semesters already completed at NWP, which shuts most of its 359 awards to a student coming straight out of grade 12. Entrance awards are the exception and this is one of them. Applications sit in your NWP account document library once you are admitted.
