County of Wetaskiwin Agricultural Bursary

WETASKIWIN
WHO CAN APPLY
County of Wetaskiwin residents entering agriculture

Five bursaries of $1,000 each from the County of Wetaskiwin for students entering a post-secondary faculty relating to agriculture. You must be a current resident of the County of Wetaskiwin No. 10, or have been one within the last three years, and you must send a copy of your acceptance letter with the application.

The three year residency window is unusually generous: a student who moved away for work or a first year of study still qualifies. County policy allows you to receive this bursary only once. Participation in 4-H or agricultural fairs is described as desirable rather than required. Applications go to the Director of Agricultural Services and are reviewed by the Agricultural Service Board at its first meeting after the deadline; the county's page still shows the previous year's October 1 date.

1 Read the full requirements on the official website.
2 Prepare your documents and any references it asks for.
3 Submit through the official website before October 1, 2026.
