Chris Killeen Memorial Bursary

One bursary of $300 for a first-year student in kinesiology, personal training, recreation, sport and tourism or a related programme. Consideration goes to service to fellow students in athletics and recreation alongside a commitment to studies.

It is not about your own athletic results. Coaching, officiating or running activities for other students is the evidence the criteria ask for. Northwestern Polytechnic's standard award criteria require two full semesters already completed at NWP, which shuts most of its 359 awards to a student coming straight out of grade 12. Entrance awards are the exception and this is one of them. Applications sit in your NWP account document library once you are admitted.
