Chris Judge Award
Strathcona's largest school award goes to a student who has done well in athletics and the visual arts at the same time, while keeping up their academic work. Leadership, sportsmanship and character all count, and the school gives particular attention to a candidate who has overcome adversity or risen to a challenge.
Two escape hatches are written into the terms. If no suitable grade 12 candidate is found in visual arts, the award widens to fine arts generally, and if no grade 12 candidate is found at all, grade 10 and 11 students are considered. That makes it worth putting your name forward early.
