Worth knowing

The deadline is in September, so you apply after you have your acceptance, with a confirmation of enrolment letter attached. Open to First Nations status and non-status, Métis and Inuit applicants alike. The society posts only the previous cycle's form, so email ccspe.scholarship@calgary.ca to confirm this year's date. You must study at an Alberta post-secondary institution.

What you'll need

  • A PDF application form, with proof of Indigenous identity

From the provider's page, Oct 2026. It doesn't list everything, so the form may ask for more.
