Camrose scholarships

Three of these come from one Camrose disability services society and close on the same day in May, so one sitting can cover all of them.

What these mean

Open now: Taking applications now. The date is the deadline; a few have none.
Opens later: This year’s application has not opened. Save it, or set a reminder on its page.
Opens later, date not posted: The sponsor has not posted this year’s date. “Around” means last year’s date, so check before you plan on it.
Closed: This year’s deadline has passed.
Bursary: An award given mainly on financial need rather than marks. You usually show your family’s income, not your grades.
Designated trade: A trade Alberta certifies through an apprenticeship, like electrician, welder or carpenter.
RAP: The Registered Apprenticeship Program: you start a paid trade apprenticeship while still in high school, earning school credits and apprenticeship hours at once.

These are only the Camrose awards. Many of the 261 province-wide and 138 national awards are open to you too.
