Worth knowing
Email the application form to the CAMIS address on the form by October 15. Include official proof of acceptance and enrollment in a recognized Canadian medical office assistant or nursing program and a letter of recommendation from an instructor or work contact in central Alberta. Answer three short essay questions in 150 words or less each, on why you chose healthcare, what you would contribute and who your hero is. Results come out by the end of October.
About this scholarship
Central Alberta Medical Imaging Services gives two $500 entrance scholarships a year to students starting a medical office assistant or nursing program, favouring central Albertans.
