Worth knowing

It is the continuing-student twin of the Legacy Entrance Scholarship. Graduates of an Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, Diamond Valley, High River, Okotoks, Springbank or Strathmore high school qualify wherever in Canada they are studying. Eligible study: Calgary institution OR graduate of a listed area high school studying at a Canadian institution.

About this scholarship

Eight awards of $2,500 each for Black Canadian citizens or permanent residents entering second year or beyond of a first undergraduate degree or diploma in full-time study. It asks for a GPA of at least 2.7 or 70 per cent, demonstrated financial need, school or community involvement, and one reference letter.
