Calgary Black Chambers Cavalry FC Athletic Scholarship

Two awards of $5,000, paid straight to tuition, for Black Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are active student athletes on a varsity women's or men's team at a Calgary post-secondary institution. Any year of a full-time undergraduate degree or diploma qualifies, the bar is a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or 70 per cent, and one reference letter is required.

Two awards, with one going to a woman and one to a man, so you are competing inside your own half of a small field. Varsity is the hard requirement: a club or intramural team does not qualify. One application covers every Calgary Black Chambers award, so there is nothing to gain from choosing between them.
