Worth knowing
One Indigenous applicant a year also receives the Bow Valley Indigenous Health Professional Bursary, for which you provide a Treaty or Band number or Métis status; that applicant is still considered for the general scholarships.
About this scholarship
Scholarships of $2,000 to $5,000 from the Canmore and Banff hospital foundations for Canadian citizens living in the Bow Valley who have been accepted into an accredited healthcare program. Students entering first year qualify. You send proof of registration, a short essay, a reference and a resume, and plans to come back and work in the region get preference.
