Burman health sciences students continuing into nursing
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Three awards of $8,000 for students admitted to Burman's Certificate in Health Sciences who plan to continue into a nursing degree. It is a need-tested award in practice: you must apply for and receive a Canadian government student loan of at least $8,500 to be eligible at all.
This is competitive and decided partly on speed: the date you apply, the date you clear financially and the date your loan notice of assessment arrives all count, and preference goes to students taking fifteen or more credits. A $150 confirmation fee is required, and a 2.8 GPA in the fall term releases the second half.
