Worth knowing

This is competitive and decided partly on speed. The date you apply, the date you clear financially and the date your loan notice of assessment arrives all count, and preference goes to students taking fifteen or more credits. A $150 confirmation fee is required, and a 2.8 GPA in the fall term releases the second half.

About this scholarship

Three awards of $8,000 for students admitted to Burman's Certificate in Health Sciences who plan to continue into a nursing degree. It is a need-tested award in practice. You must apply for and receive a Canadian government student loan of at least $8,500 to be eligible at all. Recipients must complete 12 credits each term.
