Offered jointly by the Lise-Déchène fund and the Suzanne-Corneau-et-Antoinette-Vani-Mistrzak fund, with $845 more from the Alberta Women's Coalition fund, for francophone women who head a family or are single mothers, live in Alberta, and want to return to work or take training to improve their situation.
Worth knowing
All Fondation franco-albertaine bursaries use one online process that needs a Google account. Forms open every year on March 15 at 9 a.m. Edmonton time and close May 15 at 11:59 p.m., and you can apply to several; the foundation asks that each application be written for that bursary. Proof of enrolment for the coming academic year is required before payment, and only successful applicants are contacted, by July 31.
