Worth knowing

Apply through the online form on the CPA Education Foundation site, one form per award. The May 1 deadline covers all of CPA Alberta's high school awards. You must be accepted at an Alberta post-secondary institution.

What you'll need

  • A letter, or a 2 to 3 minute video, on what being an empowered young woman means to you
  • Your acceptance letter from an Alberta post-secondary school
  • One support letter from a teacher or community leader

About this scholarship

One $2,000 award from the CPA Education Foundation for a Grade 12 Alberta student who identifies as a girl or woman, judged on good character and leadership, not marks. You submit a letter or a two to three minute video on what being an empowered young woman means to you, your post-secondary acceptance letter, and one letter of support that speaks to your character and any obstacles you have had to get past. Preference goes to students interested in the CPA designation.
