ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A $1,000 bursary for a member of the Beaver River Fish and Game Association. The substance of the application is an essay of 500 to 1,000 words on a current issue facing Alberta or Canadian wildlife or the environment, which has to offer solutions rather than only describe the problem, plus a list of community involvement and extracurricular activities.
Membership in the Beaver River Fish and Game Association is required, and the award goes only to students continuing directly after their graduation year.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before July 31, 2027.
