LCHS graduates entering careers working with people with disabilities
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Two awards of $1,000 from the Lloydminster Parkland Residence Society for students heading into teaching, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology or rehabilitation assistant programs. Selection leans on demonstrated interest through volunteering or part-time work with people with disabilities rather than on marks, and preference goes to applicants who have won less scholarship money elsewhere. Education students must have taken at least one course in exceptionality or special education.
One form covers every LPSD award. You complete the General LPSD Scholarship Application in the Google Classroom, code an2eroz, by May 1, and tick this award on the LCHS organizer sheet rather than applying to the sponsor.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before May 1, 2027.
