Worth knowing

The 100 kilometre rule is measured from your hometown, so a student from a small central Alberta community may qualify where a Red Deer student never can. Programmes shorter than two years do not count.

How the Red Deer Polytechnic General Application works

Red Deer Polytechnic's General Application closes May 31 and puts you in the running for every award you qualify for.

21 awards listed here go through it.

About this scholarship

A $1,500 award for a recent high school graduate who is an Alberta resident and had to move at least 100 kilometres from their hometown to attend Red Deer Polytechnic full time, in an undergraduate programme of at least two years. Students receiving other awards totalling more than $5,000 are ineligible.
