Worth knowing
You must be an Alberta resident relocating more than 100 kilometres one way, with no earlier post-secondary study. Need decides it, and you cannot hold more than $5,000 in other awards that year.
How the Mount Royal awards application works
Mount Royal takes award applications once a year, through the awards application in MyMRU, open November 1 to March 1. Apply for admission first, because you need an admission record and student ID before you can open it. To be considered for an award tied to a major, declare that major with the Registrar's Office before you fill it in.
