About this program

Calgary's senior youth orchestra, run by the Mount Royal University Conservatory. Auditions are held once a year, in person in late May and June, and adjudicated by the music director. New players bring two contrasting pieces plus scales, and returning players also prepare orchestral excerpts. Private lessons are strongly recommended. The 2026-27 season has no harp part.
