ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A memorial award for a student who has shown proficient skill in the creation and public presentation of poetry. Both halves count: this is not a writing prize alone, and the public presentation requirement means the work has to be performed. Paul Kane lists it as a grade 10 award and Bellerose runs its own version with a June 1 cutoff.
The date here is Paul Kane's April 10. Bellerose collects the same award until June 1 and the other schools set their own, so the deadline you are held to is your own school's, not the one printed here. Ask your counsellor which applies to you.
