Worth knowing

It is open to any year of study, so a student starting a library technician diploma straight out of Grade 12 qualifies. It is a narrow field but an open door, and it needs a GPA of at least 2.7 or 70% plus demonstrated financial need. The academic requirement is 70% or a cumulative GPA of at least 2.7.

About this scholarship

Two awards of about $2,500, preferably one to an undergraduate and one to a graduate student, for someone enrolled in a Library and Information Sciences or Library Technician certificate, diploma or graduate program at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
