Royal Canadian Legion Bursary (Lacombe)

Two bursaries of $2,500, the largest community awards on the Lacombe Composite list. They are for graduates who are the child, grandchild or great-grandchild of Canadian ex-service personnel, of Merchant Navy personnel awarded campaign stars or decorations, of the RCMP, or of ex-service personnel of Commonwealth or Allied countries. Unlike the Legion's other award, this one is decided on financial need.

Evidence of the relationship is required, such as a copy of the relative's service record or discharge certificate. The information supporting your financial need is shared with both the LCHS scholarship committee and the Legion Poppy Trust Fund, who decide jointly.
