Worth knowing

You must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident under 30 and enrolling full time at a public Canadian college, university or institute. Other awards you hold cannot total more than $2,500 a year, not counting student loans. Past recipients cannot apply again. The 2026 deadline was May 15.

About this scholarship

The Rick Hansen Foundation pays up to $10,000 a year, to a total of $40,000, to young Canadians with disabilities completing a post-secondary program.
