You must want to enter the Doctor of Dental Surgery after your first degree. Selection weighs academics and need, and it renews for three more years.

How the University of Alberta entrance award application works

Apply for admission to the University of Alberta first. Then sign in to the Awards Hub with your CCID and complete two forms, the General Application and the Entrance Scholarship Application. They open each year on October 1 and close in mid-January, January 10 for fall 2027 entry, and they put you in the running for every entrance award you qualify for. Applications cannot be changed or reopened after the deadline.
