Worth knowing

Use the NPFBF dependent and spouse bursary online application, including the member consent form, transcripts, two references and essay. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, be aged 17 to 25, and have at least 70% across their last three terms. The program must last at least one year. Previous NPFBF bursary winners and children of salaried NPF employees are ineligible. The estimated deadline is May 14, 2027. The 2027 date is not published yet; this is last year's date moved forward one year.

About this scholarship

This $5,000 bursary is for children of active or deceased National Police Federation members entering a full-time Canadian undergraduate degree or diploma. Selection considers academic performance, volunteer and community activities, the essay and references.
