A $1,500 bursary for a recent high school graduate entering the first year of the Practical Nurse programme at Red Deer Polytechnic full time, awarded on financial need.

Red Deer Polytechnic runs one General Application that closes May 31 and puts you in the running for every award you qualify for, so this is one box on a form rather than a separate submission. Marks are not mentioned anywhere in the criteria, which is rare for a nursing award and means a student who scraped into the programme is on the same footing as the top of the intake.
