Mary Keohane #96 Order of the Eastern Star Scholarship

Southern Alberta

Who can apply Bassano High School graduates with a volunteer record

Amount and deadline

Award
At least $500
Deadline May 1, 2027

Date from the provider's page, checked Sep 2026.

Apply

Apply at https://files-backend.assets.thrillshare.ca/documents/asset/uploaded_file/1000013/Bassano/6431bdbe-1978-4814-a8bd-f2e24fe5fd66/Bassano_Scholarship_Handbook_2025-2026.pdf?disposition=inline

Email me before it closes

We send one link to confirm, then a reminder 30, 14 and 3 days before the deadline.
Reminders come from ScholarAB in Medicine Hat, Alberta. We store your address only to send them, and delete it the moment you unsubscribe, which you can do any time from any email.
What we keep

Nothing else is sent until you press the button in the confirmation email. If you never do, the address is deleted within 30 days. Otherwise it goes 60 days after the deadline or the moment you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. A listing with no date keeps it a year at most, and nothing is kept past 18 months. We never sell or trade it. Questions go to hello@scholarab.ca. The full privacy policy.

Worth knowing

The money is paid once you show proof of registration at a Canadian institution, and you have until September 30 of the year after you graduate. Miss that and it passes to the next student who qualifies.

About this scholarship

One award a year, never less than $500, for a Bassano High School student. The Order of the Eastern Star says participation in student activities and community volunteering is essential, and that you need good average marks, not the highest ones.
