Lucy Bedinfield-Wehrfritz supported her local schools for decades and died in 2022 at 94. Her family funds up to six $2,000 awards a year, three at Willow Creek Composite and three at F.P. Walshe, for students entering artistic or trades careers.
Worth knowing
You need at least 90 percent attendance in your final year, and a willingness to work to the best of your ability counts more than a top average. The family has committed to ten years of funding.
