About this scholarship

A $750 award decided on a written personal story, not marks. Applications open January 1 and close July 31, with the winner announced August 31. Past recipients are named publicly, which is a reasonable sign the money is paid. Applicants must be 30 years old or younger. A valid Canadian bank account is required.
