Worth knowing
International students qualify. Applications run through a Google Form and the closing date is published in the separate annual guidelines document rather than on the award page, so open that first. Applications close on October 16, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Applicants must be full-time Grade 10, 11 or 12 students or full-time undergraduate students. Students may receive no more than two KCSFE scholarships at high-school level, two at undergraduate level and one at graduate level. High-school applicants need 80%, and undergraduates need a GPA of 3.3 or B+ in the most recently completed academic year.
About this scholarship
A scholarship paying $1,000 to high school students and $2,000 to college and university students who live, or whose parents live, in Red Deer or farther north in Alberta.
