🤝 Hilltop Awards and Bursaries

Edmonton Community Foundation funds students from the greater Edmonton area or northern Alberta, meaning north of Red Deer, who need help with post-secondary costs and hold a role with real responsibility in their community. That role counts broadly: volunteering, coaching, or working as an artist. The money can be used at most post-secondary institutions in Canada.

About 150 students receive one of these each year, which makes it one of the larger single sources of funding in the Edmonton area. You must have lived in the region for at least the six months before you apply.
